Tirta Empul Temple is one of the island's most revered Hindu temples and a significant spiritual destination. Dating back to 962 AD during the Warmadewa dynasty, the temple is dedicated to Vishnu, the god of water, and is celebrated for its sacred spring, which has drawn worshippers for centuries seeking spiritual cleansing and renewal.

The name “Tirta Empul” translates to “holy water spring,” perfectly reflecting the temple’s essence and cultural significance. The holy spring continuously provides crystal-clear water to the temple’s intricately designed purification pools and fountains. This water is believed to hold potent healing properties, making it central to purification rituals like the Melukat Ceremony, where participants immerse themselves in a spiritual journey to cleanse their body, mind, and soul.

We will take an adventurous stroll through the Ancient Temple Ruins of the famous Monkey Forest.

We explore the possibilities beyond this moment through presence and practice, making space for growth, action, and forward momentum.

We invite you to take a digital detox during this retreat, allowing you to fully embrace the experience we are about to guide you on with as little distraction as possible.

This retreat is designed to help you relax and unwind while also training your body and mind to communicate and understand how movement affects you and how we can train to move with less pain and stiffness, so we can keep doing all the things we love doing!

Meet Your Instructors

Regina Padilla

I believe the body is an amazing vessel and has the ability to heal in so many miraculous ways. When given the right ingredients and environment, our bodies can heal, thrive, and expand in ways beyond our common thinking.

Yoga is more than just movement that we take the body through, it is about connecting to presence, becoming mindful of your breath and how your body feels in both stillness and as we move.

I incorporate over a decade of training and continued education in areas of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, Personal training, Reiki, Pranayama and Mobility specialization (FRC), to help my students explore and create new understandings of how their body is supposed to move and ways to help support that movement with more flexibility, foundational strength and less pain.

All classes are thoughtfully designed to inspire all levels of practitioner to feel safe, supported, and challenged.

Annie Rae

Annie believes in a holistic approach to wellness that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Her passion for helping others lead healthier, more intentional lives led her to become a certified yoga instructor, personal trainer, nutrition counselor, sound healer, and mindfulness practitioner.

In addition to teaching yoga on Maui, Annie facilitates sound baths and leads healing ceremonies incorporating cacao, breathwork, meditation, visualization and manifestation practices.

Annie’s intention is to guide others in slowing down, looking inward, and remembering that we have the power within to heal, transform, and become the highest version of ourselves. Through movement, mindfulness and intentional living, she inspires others to reconnect with their inner wisdom and embrace their fullest potential.
